Dr. Robert J. Rothstein is a nationally recognized leader in Emergency Medicine with over 40 years of clinical, academic, and executive experience. He received his medical degree from Northwestern University and completed his Emergency Medicine residency at the University of Chicago, where he later served as Residency Director and Associate Chair.
He has held senior leadership roles at Harbor–UCLA Medical Center and Suburban Hospital/Johns Hopkins Medicine, including Chair of Emergency Medicine and Vice President of Medical Affairs. Dr. Rothstein has also held academic appointments at UCLA, Georgetown, and George Washington University.
In addition to his clinical leadership, Dr. Rothstein has served as an advisor and board member for several healthcare technology and innovation companies, including Medically Home, Airx Medical, Mindoula, Crystalline Medical and UV Angel. He was certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine, Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians, and a former examiner and exam editor for the American Board of Emergency Medicine. He has authored numerous publications in leading medical journals and textbooks.
